Please start thinking about your Rube Goldberg project. See assignment  . It isn't due until October 15th but you should start thinking of ideas.

Remember:  Guns and the use of animals are prohibited.  Air soft guns and paintball guns are okay with parent permission (signed letter given to me).

First Test

Remember to study for our first i can test.  It will include the following:

1) Definition of energy 

2) Types of energy
    -Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Light, Heat, Nuclear

3) Definition and types of Potential Energy
    -Definition: Stored energy waiting to be used.     
    -P. Chemical: Stored in chemical bonds, P. Elastic: Stored in compressed/stretched objects, P. Gravitational: stored in objects that can be pulled by gravity

4) Energy conversions:
    -Example: P gravitational --> kinetic, P. Elastic to P. Gravitational, P. Chem --> Electrical --> Light, etc.
